Hereford FC have signed George Lloyd, an 18-year-old striker who joins on loan from Cheltenham Town.
Lloyd will be available for selection this weekend. The youngster, who joined the Cheltenham Town academy at the age of nine has risen through the Whaddon Road youth system, signing his first professional contract with The Robins in December 2017.
In November 2017, Lloyd wrote his name into Cheltenham Town history books by scoring eight goals in an FA Youth Cup game versus AFC Totton – a club record-equalling goal haul. During the 2017/18 season, Lloyd scored 40 goals for Cheltenham Town reserves in their Central League campaign.
