Russell Slade has added 21-year-old midfielder Ben Pollock to his Hereford squad following a successful trial period with The Bulls.
Pollock has trained with Hereford over the past month and featured in the recent behind-closed-doors training match.
Bulls boss Russell Slade spoke about the latest arrival: “Ben is an intelligent, deep-lying midfielder who keeps the ball moving. He’s a continuity player who can be that link between the back-four and those players further forward, I’m sure he will do well for us.
“He’s impressed me during his short trial period, he’s fitted in well with the lads and he is someone who will add something to the squad that we haven’t really got at the moment.”
A former Newcastle United youngster, Pollock comes from a footballing family. His father Jamie Pollock played Premier League football for Middlesborough and Bolton Wanderers, as well as in Division One and Two for Manchester City, whilst his younger brother Mattie currently plays for Grimsby Town.
