Hereford have confirmed that their squad are undergoing a ten-day period of isolation.
The Bulls’ National League North game with Spennymoor Town at the weekend was postponed following Hereford reporting three members of their squad feeling unwell. Spennymoor said the club were ‘disappointed to have been informed as late as 1:10pm via a phone call from the league.’
Hereford said in a statement: “The club immediately followed the correct protocol to advise and consult with both the club and National League’s medical advisors.
“Following this consultation, the National League subsequently called the match off. As per the National League protocol, the first team have now been placed in isolation for ten days. We await the outcome of the three tests, expected in the next 48 hours.”
