Hereford FC say they are voting for the current season to be ended immediately.
With football on a continuing hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic, the National League has yet to announce a final decision over the 2019/20 campaign.
The Bulls, who were 15th in the National League North when the season was put on hold, have outlined their intentions with regard to the vote from member clubs:
“On the football side of things, we can confirm that a vote is taking place of clubs to immediately end the 2019/20 season in the National League. If the vote is successful, no further matches will be played in the regular season.
“Clubs will then have a further vote to decide on exactly how the season ends, with the options for that still being decided by the league and FA. As a club, we are voting for the season to end immediately.
“With the current season potentially running to September, and no guarantees on being able to play in front of spectators during that time, there are far too many financial uncertainties to consider carrying on the season. Once the result of the vote is known the Board will provide an update as to the next steps.”
