Dover Athletic manager Andy Hessenthaler says he has been holding “clear the air” talks with his squad following back-to-back league defeats.

Defeats against Boreham Wood and Maidenhead United in their last two league matches have seen the Whites drop to 15th in the National League.

Dover are six points off the play-off places with a game in hand on seventh placed Halifax Town, and are six points above the relegation zone with two games in hand.

Hessenthaler says he has spoken to the squad as a group, and is currently in the process of speaking to players on a one-to-one basis, to demand improvement.
