Dover Athletic manager Andy Hessenthaler is “actively looking” to bring additions to the club after a run of four league games without a win, Kent Online report.

The Whites recorded their second successive defeat in the league, and their third in four National League matches, as they were beaten 1-0 at home to Stockport County on Saturday.

The result has left Dover in 16th place with 24 points from 17 matches heading into tonight’s clash against Eastleigh.

Despite FA Cup progress at National South outfit Weymouth the previous weekend, the Whites haven’t won in the league since victory at Maidenhead United on September 24.

Hessenthaler believes any additions would be on loan deals, but despite wanting to strengthen, insists he still has faith in his existing squad.

“It’s always sometimes nice to freshen things up. I think the players want that,” he said.
