Jey Siva has come back to bolster the defensive options at Heybridge Swifts following the departure of Joe Claridge.
The former Grays and Harlow left-back first signed for the club in the summer of 2018 and played under manager Jody Brown and his successor Julian Dicks.
The Dane left towards end of last season to get married, but he returned to the squad for the play-off wins at Aveley and Maldon and will now be part of new boss Karl Duguid’s squad.
Swifts vice-chairman Steve Spreadbury said: “We welcome Jey back as he is a firm favourite at the club and always a great person to have around.
“He is also an experienced and talented player and also very popular with our younger fans.”
It is a boost for the squad following news newly-appointed skipper Nick Brown will have a spell on the sidelines after it was confirmed he broke his ankle in the weekend’s friendly win over Clacton.
