Chelmsford City have signed Shaun Jeffers from Brackley Town and Sam Higgins from East Thurrock United.
Striker Jeffers re-joins the Clarets for a second spell after two seasons away from the Melbourne Community Stadium.
Discussing his return, he said: “I’m happy to return to a club where I had great success. Hopefully we can go one better next season and get promoted.
“I’ve worked well with the management team and the club before and Chelmsford still has a place in my heart. I can’t wait to get started.”
Higgins, 28, re-joins the Clarets for a second spell, after previously featuring for City in the 2010-11 season.
During his first spell with City, he made 28 appearances, scoring 16 goals, including the equalising goal versus Wycombe Wanderers with a curled free-kick in the FA Cup second round.
Higgins said: “I’d like to say thank you to Covo (manager John Coventry) and East Thurrock United for the platform they gave to me to perform during my time there.
“I look forward to the challenge ahead with unfinished business at Chelmsford City!”
