Truro City are thrust straight back into league action on Saturday with a visit from leaders Dartford (kick-off 3.00pm).

Manager Lee Hodges believes that it is the perfect way to follow-up their Emirates FA Cup adventure against Charlton Athletic last weekend.

“The players have deservedly had their ’15 minutes of fame’, but now the focus has to be firmly on climbing back up the table and getting League points on the board,” he said. “In many ways this is the perfect game for us to come back into.

“It doesn’t come any bigger than facing the League leaders at home and hopefully we can build on the positivity around the club by going out there and putting in a match-winning performance.

“It’ll be a tough task because Dartford are a good side with quality throughout their team, but we have proved what we are capable of and I’m expecting it to be a keenly-contested affair.

“We need the fans right behind us again from the very first whistle. To have 1,000 supporters singing their hearts out at The Valley was fantastic.

“Their backing was so special and hopefully there will be a good turn-out on Saturday afternoon to create another superb atmosphere.”
