Darlington have confirmed the departure of Jamie Holmes.
The former Blyth Spartans and South Shields forward has had his contract at the National League North side cancelled by mutual consent.
Darlo had taken up the option to extend Holmes’ contract back in May, as he continues his recovery from a second cruciate ligament injury.
On his departure, manager Alun Armstrong told the club’s website:
“It’s a great shame, because Jamie had a lot of potential.”
