Maldon & Tiptree manager Kevin Horlock has added several new players to his squad at Park Drive.

Joining the club from Finland-based side Atlantis are Clyde Ondo-Ikpo and Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Katundu.

‘Manny’ is an attacked midfielder. His previous clubs also include Hayes & Yeading, as well as playing as a professional for Atlantis.

Ondo-Ikpo is a left-footed defensive-minded player who has also featured for Welling United. Both have received international clearance from the relevant Football Associations and their moves will be completed subject to the relevant paperwork being cleared.

Horlock has also secured the services of Derek Ubah. Ubah, aged 21, has signed for The Jammers from Luxembourg second tier side CS Grevenmacher. Previously, Ubah has featured for Boston United.

Also joining the club is defensive midfielder, Olu Quandri. Quandri joins the club from Arlesey Town and his previous clubs include Edgware Town, Aylesbury United, London Colney, Leverstock Green & Ware.

Goalkeeper Tim Brown has also joined. The goalkeeper originally joined Canvey Island on a season’s work experience from West Ham United in September 2014, having signed a scholarship with the Hammers in June 2013. Following spells with Chelmsford City and Thurrock, Brown re-signed for the Gulls in November 2017.
