This season’s FA Trophy final will be between Hornchurch and Hereford.
The semi-finals, reduced to one game instead of two this year, took place this afternoon.
Isthmian Premier Division Hornchurch came from behind three times against Notts County at Meadow Lane to win on penalties. The Urchins’ third equaliser came in stoppage time through Liam Nash, who struck a double in the game.
Their opponents at Wembley on 22nd May will be National League North Hereford, who themselves overcame higher-division opposition. Josh Gowling’s side were 1-0 winners at home to National League Woking, with Joey Butlin coming up with the decisive strike.
Last season’s final is of course also still to be played, and is scheduled for 3rd May, between now-League Two Harrogate Town and National League South Concord Rangers.
