Vanarama National League newcomers North Ferriby United have appointed Darryn Stamp as player/assistant-manager under Steve Housham.
Housham and Stamp have worked as a successful team over the last few years at Gainsborough Trinity and they are actively now getting the North Ferriby team ready for the 2016/17 season.
Stamp is still available to play and he will balance his role as assistant boss and player during the 2016/17 season.
The former Scunthorpe, Scarborough, Northampton and Chester City striker is currently studying in the Sports Science Department at the University of Hull.
North Ferriby`s joint-chairman Steve Forster said: “This is a great signing for the club. Darryn is a perfect match with Steve Housham and he has that added bonus that he is still a quality striker”.
