Huddersfield Town prospect Jaheim Headley has spoken of the advice he received at Welling United recently.
The defender temporarily left the Championship club to join National League South Welling on loan.
Headley told Huddersfield’s website: “The experience was really good.
“It was good to be around players that have been in the game for a long time. They told me about their careers and gave me a bit of advice on what the best opportunities are and what wouldn’t be good for me.
“It’s also taught me because they’re men and it’s a different ball game for me going from playing in academy matches to going to the National League South and playing against men that are playing for three points every single week.”
