Gavin Hurren, the newly-appointed manager of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East club Gresley FC, has moved swiftly to add two players to his squad.

Well-travelled and experienced 30-year-old striker Luke Barlone joins from Total Motion Midland League Premier Division side Coventry Sphinx.

Barlone had only joined Sphinx in early December following stints in the same league with Coventry United, Coleshill Town and Highgate United.

He also numbers Barwell, Grantham Town, Coalville Town, Atherstone Town, Halesowen Town, Shepshed Dynamo, Bedworth United and Redditch United amongst his other former clubs.

Twenty-year-old midfielder Luke Moran has also moved to The Moat Ground from Vanarama National League North side Nuneaton Borough

Moran, who has been offered a place at Loughborough University, was previously with Accrington Stanley and has had loan spells in the NPL with Skelmersdale United and Radcliffe.
