Hythe Town winger Josh Stirman has been invited for a trial at former Premier League champions Leicester City, report Kent Online.
The 17-year-old travelled to the Midlands this week, trained with the Foxes on Monday and played in a game behind closed doors on Tuesday.
Stirman, a member of the Tonbridge Angels academy, has made three substitute appearances for the Cannons this season and started their Kent Senior Cup win over Margate.
“It’s a great opportunity for him,” said Hythe manager Sam Denly. “He’s been really good for us, he’s a smashing lad, a great talent and he’s got a few clubs looking at him.
“I know Parko (Tom Parkinson) well at Tonbridge and I guess it’s an unofficial loan. He’s signed Bostik forms for us but he’s their player.”
