Jordan Maguire-Drew is determined to leave Wrexham Football Club in a better position than he found it, say The Leader.

Maguire-Drew’s season long loan from Brighton is the 20-year-old’s fourth temporary move of his fledgling career. But the tricky winger is as motivated as any member of the Wrexham squad to help Sam Ricketts’ Reds win promotion from the National League.

“I’m here to do well for me and for Wrexham,” declared Maguire-Drew when asked about life on loan, something he’s also tasted at Dagenham and Redbridge, Lincoln and Coventry.

“The manager, the staff and the players have been brilliant with me.

“I love it here and I want to get this club back in the Football League, that’s what I want to do.”
