Boss Rob Edwards has called for more aggression from his players as he eyes building up some much-needed momentum in AFC Telford’s relegation fight.

Bucks travel to face fellow National North strugglers Alfreton Town tomorrow, following on from Saturday’s game at Bradford Park Avenue being postponed.

Edwards, who used the day to watch Leamington take on Nuneaton, said he’s been pleased with the response of his players after last week’s defeat at Southport.

“Alfreton will be big game, as they all are now,” he said. “It makes it doubly so because of where they are in the table, so we’ve got to be on our game.

“Each and every player must assume responsibility now for their own job, like we all do. We work hard – I can’t fault that – but we can work smarter and not be so passive.

“I want us to be more aggressive.”
