Altrincham’s on-loan midfielder Connor Kirby is in good spirits following surgery at the weekend.

The Harrogate Town man sustained a double compound fracture of his left leg in Saturday’s National League game at Wealdstone.

Wealdstone have announced plans for a fundraiser for Kirby at their home game against Aldershot this coming weekend.
