Non-league club Wakefield United have unveiled their new shirt, with indie band The Cribs their sponsor.
The Wakefield band’s last four albums have gone top 10 in the UK album chart, after the 2007 release Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever went gold. The shirt is manufactured by GDZ Sport.
Wakefield United were formed three months ago, as a club that says it actively encourages refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to join, along with British natives.
Chairman Matthew Thomas has stated his wish for the club to help improve the lives of all people living in the local community.
