Irlam have announced their first ever sponsorship arrangement to rename their Silver Street ground.

In the club’s first ever season in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division, the ground will be renamed The Ambitek Stadium.

Ambitek is a leading provider of technical recruitment services providing permanent and contract solutions to a number of high profile clients.

The company is based in nearby Eccles, and have been a strong supporter of the Club for the past three seasons, and Club Secretary Warren Dodd says the move to rebrand the ground further strengthens the link between the Club and one of its key sponsors.

“Ambitek are a successful local company owned and run by one of the nicest fellows I have ever met. The owner, Al has been so supportive of the Club over recent seasons, not just by offering financial support, but also by attending meetings and coming along to presentation nights held in our new clubhouse. He has a real passion for the Club and i don’t think I have ever seen him without a smile on his face.”

“His offer to rename the ground was very well received by all, and we will be delighted to place the new name ahead of our Club address this coming season.

“Visitors to the newly named Ambitek Stadium will view a newly branded front entrance to the ground, with a greater Ambitek presence once inside the ground”.
