Alfreton Town have released striker Joe Ironside from his contract by mutual consent
Ironside, a former Sheffield United player, made fifty-two appearances for the Reds, nineteen of which came as a substitute.
He scored 7 goals for the Reds.
Meanwhile, Alfreton will have to do it without the services of Brad McGowan, who picked up a hand injury in the 2-0 win at Curzon Ashton on Monday which will rule him out for the rest of the season.
It is desperately bad news for both player and club as he had been in terrific form at the heart of the defence since joining from Grantham Town.
He underwent an operation on Friday morning and is expected to be out for at least three months.
