King’s Lynn Town boss Ian Culverhouse has described the current struggle to piece together a team amid ongoing uncertainty over the season as diabolical.

Culverhouse was speaking after the 3-1 defeat at Wealdstone last night in the National League.




He told Lynn News: “We’ve got to go out and find another one somewhere. We are just filling spaces at the moment and for what?

“I had to sit in front of Jacko (Simeon Jackson) and ask him and I was begging him. He’s come out of his way to give us a hand, and so has Alfie Payne.

“Alfie is just coming back off the back of an injury so he hasn’t played a lot of games.”
