Last week saw Shwan Jalal complete a return to Macclesfield Town.
The experienced goalkeeper signed a one-year contract with the Silkmen to return to the Moss Rose from Wrexham.
33-year-old Jalal says it was an easy decision to re-sign for Macclesfield after enjoying a successful 2015/16 campaign at the Moss.
He is now relishing playing regular for John Askey’s men and is targeting building on the previous success he had in a Macclesfield shirt.
Speaking to mtfc.co.uk shortly after signing his deal, Jalal explained: “I loved my time here previously and it is great to be able to come back.
“It’s been in the offing for some time now. I’ve been speaking to the manager and the chairman for a while and I am just glad to get it done.
“It was a no brainer to come back here. Like I said I made no secret that I loved it here. I had a lot of time for the fans and the manager, who I hugely respect, as well Steve Watson, Bill (Gorton) and the rest of the staff here.
“I’m delighted to finally sign and now I’m just looking forward to the start of the pre-season.”
