Chester FC have announced that Kingsley James has agreed a return to the Blues on a two-year deal.

The 25-year-old midfielder will join on July 1, following the expiry of his contract at Macclesfield.

James returns to the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium for a second spell, spending the 2014-15 campaign here where he scored two goals in 40 games following his arrival from Hereford.

Kingsley also made his breakthrough into the England C setup whilst with the Blues – scoring on his debut in a 4-2 win over Estonia U-23’s. He has since represented the side on three more occasions.

The box-to-box midfielder joins Lathaniel Rowe-Turner as Jon McCarthy’s second new signing of the week.
