Jamie Cureton has been appointed manager of Enfield.
It follows the resignation last week of Matt Hanning, with Cureton placed in temporary charge as player-manager.
Now, though, the striker, who has famously surpassed 1000 competitive appearances, has been handed the reins long-term.
The 45-year-old former Bristol Rovers and Reading star was in charge at Bishop’s Stortford until departing in February.
