Maldon & Tiptree striking sensation Liam Nash is being linked with a dream summer move with both Gillingham and Doncaster Rovers reported to chasing his signature.
Signed by the Jammers in September after spells at Great Wakering Rovers and Billericay, the 21-year-old as scored 37 goals this season, including a 20 minute hat-trick in a 5-4 win over Haringey Borough on Wednesday night to fire his team into Sunday’s Ryman North play-off final against Thurrock at Park Drive.
The versatile forward’s goal-scoring exploits have not gone unnoticed this season with scouts from a number of Football League clubs reported to have been making regular visits to watch Nash who also had one trial with League Two champions Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
On Friday, they were reported to be keen to have another look at him before deciding whether to offer the Ryman League’s leading scorer a deal this summer.
