He may be the current man in the dugout for Gainsborough Trinity but Nathan Jarman will not be taking over on a full-time basis.

Gainsborough Trinity

The 31-year-old frontman has been taking the team on an interim basis since the departure of Dave Frecklington last week and he opted against selecting himself for the weekend’s 3-0 home loss to Southport. That result leaves the side sitting in the relegation places in the Vanarama National League North and Jarman, who has had spells at Barnsley and Grimsby Town during his career, says he will not be their next manager.

When asked if he has put himself forward for the position, Jarman told Lincolnshire Live: “Absolutely not, I’ll be playing for the next manager.”
