King’s Lynn Town are looking to give manager Ian Culverhouse the perfect send-off.

The Linnets take on Weymouth in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier play-off semi-finals at The Walks tomorrow evening and midfielder Ryan Jarvis wants the former Norwich City coach to pursue a fresh challenge with a promotion on his CV. Culverhouse recently revealed his plans to leave The Walks at the end of the season and Jarvis thinks the 53-year-old deserves success for work he has put in since joining club in February 2017.

“The gaffer has been brilliant – he has set the standards from the off,” said Jarvis, who has been superb in a holding midfield role for Lynn this season. “From day one when he first got us in during pre-season he told us what he expected.

“He has been excellent – his attention to detail is first class and it will be unbelievable if we can send him off with a promotion. I think he deserves it. Our objective was always to get into the play-offs so we have achieved that and perhaps we can feel a bit unlucky not to go up automatically after getting 100 points.”
