James Jepson has resigned as Hinckley AFC manager.

The former Rugby Town boss was appointed at the end of May but has now decided to step down. He detailed his departure in the following statement:

After an irretrievable breakdown in trust with certain Board members, who have been working surreptitiously towards bringing a former manager back to the club, I have today resigned as Manager of Hinckley AFC.
Whilst I accept that the timing prior to a big FA Vase game is far from perfect – and for this I apologise whole heartedly to our brilliant fans – I feel my position has been made untenable by the actions of the said Board members.

I would like to thank Hinckley for affording me the opportunity to manage the club and wish them every success for the future.
