Chester joint-manager Anthony Johnson faced the media last night after an excellent bounceback win over Curzon Ashton.
Johnson and Bernard Morley’s side came into the game off the back of two defeats, but the gaffers were delighted with the response.
Speaking to BBC Radio Merseyside’s Neil Turner, Johnson said: “To bounce back and play with the tempo and intensity we did, that felt like a 2-1 battering.
“They (Curzon) have good players. They recruited really well, but we looked a level above them.”
