FC Halifax Town have signed goalkeeper Sam Johnson on a two year deal following his release from Port Vale.
The 24 year old has had two loan spells with the Shaymen which has seen him win the FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium and promotion via the Vanarama National League North play-offs.
Johnson, who is 6ft 7, became a popular member of the squad with the fans and will be a popular signing this summer.
The Shaymen have also announced that striker Richard Peniket will be leaving the Club after three years with the Shaymen.
Peniket, whose contract has now expired with Town, joined the Shaymen in 2014.
He was part of the FA Trophy winning team at Wembley Stadium last May.
It completes a busy day which has seen Billy Heath sign 30 year old defender Martin Riley following his release from Wrexham this summer.
