Salford City have made Dan Jones their fourth signing of the summer.
The defender joins on a two-year deal after leaving Barrow, who he helped to a top-half finish in the National League in 2018-19.
24-year-old Jones has played in the Football League before with Hartlepool United and Grimsby, and he has also featured for England C including starting their 2-2 draw with Wales C at The Peninsula Stadium in March.
“I’m delighted to be here, I can’t wait to get going with this club,” he said.
“The ambition the club has, you saw last year with the promotion, they fought hard to eventually get up and got over the finish line.
“I think there’s no stopping it now, I think we can go and do it again and I think everyone around the club wouldn’t think that’s impossible to do.”
