Worcester City have announced that club captain Craig Jones will take on a player-coach role.
The move finalises new manager Tim Harris’ backroom staff.
Jones, who held the fort as interim boss earlier this year, told the club’s website: “It’s an exciting opportunity and one I’m grateful to have been offered.
“Although I’m fully focused on playing and believe I’ve still got a good few years left yet, the chance to gain experience within a managerial staff will be great for me personally.
“I’m looking forward to helping the new management team in any way that I can. Worcester City are a huge club in non-league football with a great fan base and I’m determined to do everything I can on and off the pitch to help bring us success.”
