Football has been paying its tributes to Jordan Sinnott, after the Alfreton Town player died at the age of 25.
Sinnott, who was on loan at fellow Derbyshire side Matlock Town, died at the weekend, leading to both his parent club and loan club postponing their fixtures. Three men have so far reportedly been arrested in relation to Sinnott’s death.
Jordan was the son of former Bradford City defender Lee Sinnott, who went on to manage Farsley Celtic, Port Vale, Bradford (Park Avenue), Altrincham and Gainsborough Trinity. The former Huddersfield Town youngster represented Altrincham, FC Halifax Town and Chesterfield, amongst others.
