Justin Edinburgh has emerged as the early favourite to replace Steve Davis at Leyton Orient.
The Vanarama National League outfit are searching for their sixth manager in a year following Tuesday’s sacking of Davis, who lasted only four months at the helm.
The 52-year-old had previously penned a two-year contract in July shortly after the O’s had plummeted out of the Football League for the first time in 112 years.
A run of one win from 12 games saw the club pull the trigger, meaning the former Crewe boss exited Brisbane Road with a record of six wins, five draws and 11 defeats from 22 matches in all competitions.
