Goalkeeper Dan Jezeph has become the first of last season`s squad to commit his future to Tamworth for the upcoming 2017/18 campaign.

Jezeph, 19, started the final six Vanarama National League North games, and made nine league starts in total last season.

Released from the youth set-up at Midlands neighbours Walsall a year ago, Jezeph spent the early part of last season in The Lambs` under-21 set up, as well as enjoying a loan spell at Rugby Town.

Jezeph said: “I am looking forward to getting back into training already! I have spoken to coach Lee Evans and we are going to keep ticking over this summer.”

He continued: “I am hoping that I can kick-on next season, establish myself as the number one and then keep the shirt. I feel I have done well since coming into the team. I have been getting experience and my nerves are going now. Hopefully the more games I play the more confident I will become”.
