Goalkeeper Dan Jezeph has become the first of last seasons squad to commit his future to Tamworth for the upcoming 2017/18 campaign.

Jezeph, 19, started the final 6 National League North games, and made 9 league starts in total last season.

Released from the youth set up at midlands neighbours Walsall a year ago, Jezeph spent the early part of last season in our U21 set up, as well as enjoying a loan spell at Rugby Town.

Speaking to Matt Panter of the Tamworth Herald, Jezeph said “I am looking forward to getting back into training already! I have spoken to (coach) Lee Evans and we are going to keep ticking over this summer.”

He continued “I am hoping that I can kick on next season, establish myself as the number one and then keep the shirt. I feel I have done well since coming into the team. I have been getting experience and my nerves are going now. Hopefully the more games I play the more confident I will become.”
