Experienced goalkeeper Jan Budtz has agreed a new deal to remain at Buxton this season.
The 39-year-old Dane, who is in his second spell with the Bucks, first came to English football with Doncaster Rovers in 2005. He was soon thrust into the spotlight as he saved two penalties in a televised League Cup tie with Manchester City, as Dave Penney’s Rovers went through.
As well as playing for Mick McCarthy’s Wolves on loan, Budtz has also represented the likes of Hartlepool United and Oldham Athletic (loan) during his career.
