Hemel Hempstead Town have signed German-born goalkeeper Nick Hamann.
The 29-year-old, Dresden-born Hamann was originally with Hessen Kassel but started his career in England at Chelsea, aged 16, as a first-year scholar.
He turned professional and spent five years at Stamford Bridge without breaking into the senior side.
He returned to Germany with Hamburg SV in January 2008 before returning to England with Ryman League Premier Division side Carshalton Athletic.
After a year at Colston Avenue and a season back in his homeland with Lotte, he returned to spend a further two years with Carshalton and two with Braintree Town before signing for Woking in the summer of 2015.
