Goalkeeper Jonathan Miles has signed for Concord Rangers on a three-month loan deal from league rivals Ebbsfleet United.
The 23-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, who has been back-up to both Brandon Hall and Nathan Ashmore, has played six games for the Fleet since signing in the summer of 2015 but the club is eager to get a run of games for Miles and the opportunity at Concord provides just that.
He will now be available for the Beachboys’ Essex derby game against Chelmsford City – the club against whom Miles made his Fleet debut – and do battle with Ben McNamara for the number one shirt.
Fleet boss Daryl McMahon has registered 30-year-old goalkeeping coach and former Farnborough and Boreham Wood number one Michael Jordan to serve as Ashmore’s back-up while Miles is at Concord.
