Goalkeeper Andy Wycherley has revealed his pride in signing for AFC Telford United – the club he went to watch while growing up.
The 20-year-old, from The Rock, has joined the Bucks after an impressive trial spell.
He turned down fresh terms at The New Saints earlier this summer and is one of three shot-stoppers Gavin Cowan has at his disposal, the others being Leicester City loanee Max Bramley and Sheridan Martinez.
“Having watching Telford growing up, it’s massive and a proud moment for me and family, and also the friends that we used to go and watch Telford with – sitting in the same place for years,” said Wycherley.
