Kettering Town say that everyone from the first-team set-up who recently tested positive for COVID-19 is ‘on the road to recovery.’
The National League North side are one of a number of clubs forced to withdraw from this season’s FA Cup after COVID cases.
The Poppies have today provided an update: “The board is pleased to confirm that everyone who tested positive for COVID-19 is now on the road to recovery, and in most cases, thankfully reporting only mild symptoms. Isolation continues and we are in talks with the club’s doctors with regards to everyone’s safe return to training.
“The club’s aim is to return to competitive football on Saturday 24th October. However, our scheduled opponents (Guiseley) were successful in their FA Cup fixture, and therefore, we are reviewing other options. Further updates on our return to competitive football will follow and we know you will join us in wishing everyone a speedy recovery.”
