Eastbourne Borough announced that centre-back Kiran Khinda-John has agreed terms which will keep him at Priory Lane for the rest of this season.
The popular defender, who first arrived at the Lane in the close season of 2014 after graduating from the Crystal Palace academy, has always shown undoubted pedigree and great potential, but since the early part of this season he has needed to be patient in terms of first-team starts.
But recent weeks have seen Khinda-John’s name regularly on the team sheet and performing impressively on the field, and the new deal seals his future until at least the end of season 2016/17.
Manager Tommy Widdrington commented: “Kiran has been very patient awaiting his opportunity this season but has played a big part in our `Unbeaten October` since returning to the side. Both parties are very happy and I am sure that Kiran will progress still further”.
