The National League North club announced Shan as their interim manager until the end of the season in early-December, but the former West Bromwich Albion assistant and caretaker boss now departs. Interim CEO Neil Male explained in a club statement: “Jimmy has moved on to pursue a football career opportunity at a higher level. I would like to personally thank him on behalf of the club for his time with his input and assistance over the last three months.”

Russ Penn takes over as interim manager until the end of the season, with Harriers intending to appoint an assistant to Penn. Shan leaves with Kidderminster currently 15th in the table, eight points clear of the relegation zone.
