Tom Killick admits he cannot see himself managing anywhere other than Poole Town as he prepares for a remarkable 800th game in charge, the Bournemouth Echo report.

The 49-year-old is set to lead Dolphins into battle against visitors Dorchester Town in Southern League South tonight, nearly 15 years after taking the helm.

He told the Daily Echo: “There are different ways of looking at it. I am much closer to the end of it all than I am the beginning.

“It’s not something I think about too much. It’s what you think about when it’s all finished, whether that’s sooner or later. There will be plenty of time to reflect on that.

“I’ve done 800 games and I’m not going to do another 800, that’s for sure.

“At the moment I still feel very motivated to carry on. I’ve been doing it a long time and I couldn’t see me going anywhere else.”
