Midfielder Ryan Jarvis says he knew King’s Lynn Town had “a successful team” on their hands despite their disappointing start to the season, Lynn News report.

After picking up just four points out of a possible 21 at the start of the campaign, the Linnets can guarantee themselves second spot and home advantage in both play-offs with a win at Stourbridge.

Fakenham-born Jarvis, who came through the ranks at Norwich City, said: “It has been a great season to be fair and to be sitting here with a chance of finishing second with one game to go is incredible.

“The whole squad last season believed we were the best team in the league in terms of footballing style.

“I think this season, with a few new faces, the belief was always there. We all knew that we had a good squad, but things didn’t start well for whatever reason.”
