King’s Lynn Town have completed the signing of striker Adam Marriott from Boston United.

The former Cambridge United, Cambridge City, Stevenage, Lincoln City, Royston Town frontman has signed a two-year deal at The Walks. On the arrival of Marriott, joint boss Robbie Back said: “Adam’s goalscoring record in the game speaks for itself.

“Over the last couple of games we have missed a load of chances and it was obvious that we needed a player who can put the ball in the back of the net. Neil (Fryatt) and myself have been tracking Adam at Boston United the last few weeks and we are delighted that he has signed a two-year deal with the club.

“As well as being a proven goalscorer, he has also played in the pro game so is another good player to bring into the group. He also played with Gashy at Cambridge United, so that’s another advantage for us.”
