Vanarama National League North leaders King’s Lynn Town have signed striker Dayle Southwell, after he left FC Halifax Town.
The 26-year-old, who starred for Boston United at this level before earning a move to Wycombe Wanderers in 2016, joins the Linnets on a two-and-a-half-year deal. The ex-Grimsby Town prospect featured on Non-League Daily last month, just after rejoining Boston on loan.
Southwell told the King’s Lynn website: “It feels brilliant to be here. I’ve just been in with the manager, and having spoken to several people around the club, it seems like exciting times ahead.
“I was made aware by my agent that King’s Lynn were interested. I was very keen to speak to them and explore that avenue.
“It all happened so fast.”
