King’s Lynn Town say they are ‘unable to confirm’ whether the club will be fulfilling fixtures beyond their next two matches.

The Linnets, playing in the National League this season for the first time following successive promotions, have confirmed they will face Barnet and Weymouth during the next week, following the league decision to continue.

However, the club say they cannot confirm whether they will play on beyond the end of the month, due to the continuing absence of income.

Owner Stephen Cleeve has since said to BBC Norfolk: “We have two home games coming up, and from a personal perspective, I’d like to win those two games so we’re outside the bottom three. At least we could try to go out in a blaze of glory.

“And then whatever happens, we need to draw down the shutters at that point and ensure the club is there for future seasons.”
